The Yamaha APX700 Thin line Acoustic Electric Cutaway Guitar is outfitted with the breakthrough 1-Way pickup System for superb amplified performance. The thin-profile body features a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Gorgeous cosmetics include an abalone sound hole inlay, ivory/black body binding, maple bottom inlay, plus mother-of-pearl APX and Yamaha headstock logos and position markers on the rosewood fingerboard. The APX700'sstylish, thin profile fits the player's body easily and has undeniable visual appeal.
The APX700's sophisticated on board electronics feature the newly developed A.R.T. (Acoustic Resonance Transducer) 1-way preamplifier system. It uses two contact pickups to dramatically reduce feedback while achieving rich, beautiful, natural tones. The preamp also features an on board tuner and 3-band EQ.
